Patient Testimonials
Matthew Hayden, AM
Former Australian Cricketer, IPL Player and Host of 'Matthew Hayden's Home Ground'
As a client of Dr Andrew Scott, I toast him and his team – all who of whom are the true unsung hero’s in society today.
I salute Andrew and his colleagues, who put simply, save peoples lives and help to ensure that they continue to live a full and healthy life.
Andrew personally assisted me with problems I faced during my International Cricket career a few years ago. I hadn’t been feeling that great for some time, and my performances suffered as a result. It was a devastating time for me and my family.
I came to Andrew in February 2005 after being dropped from the One Day International side and was consequently diagnosed with Pleurisy and Pneumonia. Under Andrew’s care, my health turned around within a week which eventually led me back to reselection on the Australia team.
I owe my entire health and general well being to Andrew, who has become a valued member of ‘Team Hayden’ in all the years since. As a professional athlete, your team of trusted advisors is everything, so I in turn have no hesitation in recommending Dr Andrew Scott, his colleagues and their own support team to those who are seeking first class care and attention in their specialised field.
I wish them well in all regards,
Matthew Hayden AM

I am 75 years of age and I HAVE JUST HAD THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE OF UNDERGOING A SLEEP STUDY. I am so impressed by the fact that the young technician was so spot on with his procedure and to put it simply was ‘blown away’ not only with his experience and knowledge but the way in which he treated me and gave me hope for the future, because at this time I am totally overwhelmed with the fact that the pull on me to fall asleep is so overpowering and life changing. He is so patient and expert, I feel he is a great asset in this field. He has truly given me hope and has my deepest respect.
One in three Australians suffer from poor quality sleep. New research suggests sleep deprivation is costing the Australian economy more than $5.1 billion a year in both direct and indirect costs.
Many people with asthma have sensitivities to certain drugs that can precipitate an asthma attack. If you have asthma, you need to be aware of which medications may be triggers. You do not need to avoid these medications unless you know they are asthma triggers for you. If these medications have never triggered your asthma, it is still best to take the medications with caution because a reaction can occur at any time.

1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, with more than 60% of cancer patients surviving more than five years after diagnosis.According to a recent US study the hidden psychological scars caused by the diagnosis of cancer can leave scaring akin to that inflicted by war, with the impact in some cases lasting for years.
